Robin Thicke pictured gripping college student’s bottom in snap tweeted to wife Paula Patton
His summer smash Blurred Lines tells the story of a man pursuing a girl in the club. But in real-life, singer Robin Thicke is happily married to wife Paula Patton, with whom he has a three-year-old son.
However, a suspicious photo emerged on Thursday showing the 36-year-old getting up close and personal with a female fan who MailOnline can exclusively reveal as student and socialite Lana Scolaro.
Blonde Lana, who is thought to be a student at a New York arts University, appears to have got very close to the star upon meeting him. A reflection of the photo in the mirror behind them appears to show Robin gripping Lana’s behind. A Twitter user posted the photo on the micro-blogging site tweeting it to Robin’s wife Paula, 37, with the message: ‘Look at the reflection girl.’
The picture appears to have been taken at an MTV VMAs after-party in New York, the night of the Blurred Lines singer’s controversial performance with Miley Cyrus. Pictures on Lana’s Instagram page show she posed for more than one photo with Thicke at the party – including two shots of them hugging on the red carpet at 10ak.
So far, Robin has remained silent on Twitter, except for quoting William Shakespeare saying, ‘A light heart lives long.’ And perhaps the singer isn’t losing any sleepless nights over the picture, as his wife was also in attendance at the party, held at the club 10ak in the Meatpacking district. However she was busy herself grabbing the microphone from rapper Two Chains to get the party started.
Following the tweet, it was happy families for Robin and Paula as they took their son to the beach for a mini-break. Robin began dating Paula 20 years ago, when he was just 16, and went on to marry her in 2005. The couple welcomed their son Julian Fuego Thicke in 2010. The picture comes after the raunchy performance a the VMAS which saw Miley Cyrus grind inappropriately up against Robin.
His mother Gloria publicly denounced the Disney star, saying: ‘I don’t understand what Miley Cyrus is trying to do. I just don’t understand. I think she’s misbegotten in this attempt of hers. And I think it was not beneficial.
