She might not have been up for a gong on Sunday, however Naomi Campbell made sure all eyes were on her after opting for a racy look for the 2014 Arqiva British Academy Television Awards. The supermodel strutted up the red carpet as if it was a catwalk in a racy, grey floor-sweeping gown at London’s Theatre Royale.
With her incredibly long hair worn down and straight, the 43-year-old let her dress do the talking while flashing her cleavage in the cut-out number. The beauty’s silky yet complicated outfit included thick straps, which showed off her slim waist, while keeping her long legs hidden thanks to it’s floaty skirt. Naomi Campbell who oozed sex appeal as she posed for photographers, kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing just a few gold bangles. Her make-up also remained low-key, with just a simple slick of lipg loss and a touch of pale, shimmery eyeshadow.
During the ceremony, she tweeted her fans to say: ‘there allukevans lovely to meet you BAFTATV’. Her comments accompanied a snap of herself and the Welsh actor, who looked dapper in a smart black suit and matching tie. Naomi Campbell showed her cheeky side as she gave a thumbs up to snappers before stopping to sign autographs for fans who lined the entrance.
Naomi Campbell also appeared to kneel at one point despite her amazing frock, while people lent out with their notepads and pens. The tall star looked exceptionally pleased to be reunited with TV presenter Davina McCall, who she greeted with a big hug. The 46-year-old chose a simple all-black dress, which made the most of her curves, complete with silver metal halterneck.
Later in the evening Naomi Campbell and Luke took to the stage to present the award for Features. The nominees were The Choir: Sing While You Work, Grand Designs, The Great British Bake Off and Long Lost Family. The statuette when to the latter, with Nicky Campbell on hand to accept, before pretending Naomi Campbell was his sister.
