Demi Lovato’s Fiancé’s Emotional, Tear-Filled Wedding Proposal Will Melt Your Heart

Jute, fiancé to singer Demi Lovato, recently shared the emotional journey behind his proposal to the pop star, revealing that it was a deeply overwhelming experience. In an appearance on The Viall Files podcast on Thursday, October 10, the musician reflected on the heartfelt preparations leading up to the big moment.

Jutes confessed that he was so emotionally invested in making the proposal perfect that he broke down into tears several times while preparing. “I wrote a song,” he revealed, explaining how he wanted to make the proposal extra special through music.

Although not a skilled guitarist, Jutes worked hard to create something meaningful for Lovato. “I’m not a guitar player, but I can kind of play some chords. So it took me like, a week, just to write the chords for this song,” he said. Once the chords were ready, he wrote heartfelt lyrics to accompany them and spent time rehearsing the song for the proposal.

The challenge, however, was not just writing the song but playing it. “Again, I’m not a guitar player, so rehearsing this song that ends in ‘Will you marry me?’ was really difficult,” Jutes admitted. “I would mess up like three out of four times, so I was like, when it comes time to do this, I just got to get lucky and nail it.”

Reflecting on the emotional intensity of the moment, Jutes shared that he almost broke down several times during the rehearsal process. “I definitely almost broke down crying a few times,” he noted, emphasizing how important the proposal was to him.

In December 2023, Jutes proposed to Lovato in Los Angeles, presenting her with a stunning pear-shaped diamond ring. The heartfelt proposal, backed by his personally written song, made the moment even more special for the couple.
