Travis Barker revealed that he opted to jump into the water less than an hour before marrying his wife, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, to calm his anxiety.
Barker and Kardashian Barker told the story of their three weddings in Las Vegas, Santa Barbara, and Portofino, Italy in their Hulu special “‘ Til Death Do Us Part, Kourtney & Travis.” Barker and his son Landon were diving as Kardashian Barker was getting ready.
“Because I was nervous, and I knew it was like, the wedding day, I went and like, jumped off like the roof of a boat, like less than an hour before we got married,” Barker recalled in the Hulu special. “‘Cause I just wanted to do something, I just wanted to like, not like, sit around thinking about it.”
Barker then jumped off the rail of a boat into the water, noting that it was “so fun,” before returning to apparently prepare for the wedding.
Barker and Kardashian Barker’s most extravagant wedding was held in Italy in May 2022. The ceremony and following celebration were the couple’s third in honor of their union: they were married without a license in Las Vegas after the Grammys in April 2022, and then officially in Santa Barbara ahead of their wedding in Italy.
The wedding took place on Dolce & Gabbana’s Portofino estate, and Dominico Dolce offered to “throw” the couple their wedding, according to Kardashian Barker during the special, arranging the event based on the “feeling” and “vibe” that they gave.
