Prince Harry Set to Receive $10.5M Inheritance from Queen Despite Royal Exit

Prince Harry is reportedly set to inherit £8 million from Queen Elizabeth II as he turns 40, and it’s expected he will gladly accept the money. The Duke of Sussex, who has distanced himself from royal duties, is not likely to refuse the inheritance.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold shared his thoughts with the New York Post, saying, “I’ve no doubt that Harry will accept it. It’s money that’s owed to him, money that’s coming to him. I don’t think he will decline the money. It’s inheritance, so it’s his right. It’s already something that has been set in place for years now.”

Royal author Hugo Vickers echoed similar sentiments, telling The Sun that the inheritance would be welcome for Harry and his family, particularly given their luxurious lifestyle in Montecito, California. “No doubt it would be helpful because I think he leads a very expensive lifestyle,” Vickers remarked.

He added, “Hopefully he will put the money to good use. £8 million can disappear pretty fast in a place like Montecito. The couple has an enormous staff, a big house to maintain, and cars.” Vickers also pointed out that Harry takes security costs very seriously, noting, “Harry has to pay for his own security too, which we know he takes very seriously.”

As the Duke of Sussex approaches this milestone birthday, his inheritance from the late Queen is seen as a significant financial boost amid his life away from the Royal Family.
