Nicole Richie’s probation has been suspended but probably not for the reasons you would expect. No, she didn’t get in any trouble. No bad behavior, but she did fail to finish the alcohol education classes she was ordered to attend after being arrested for a DUI in 2006.
Richie was scheduled to be finished with rehab in July (2010) but the judge extended it until she is able to get in the required number of classes. She has until March 2011 to finish the classes. If she finishes the classes sooner, she can have her probation terminated early.
BTW, Richie received a proper leave of absence related to the care of her children. That’s why she’s not in any trouble. Way to go Nicole!
