Lady Gaga recently opened up about her relationship with fiancé Michael Polansky, crediting him for helping her navigate a difficult phase in her life. In a candid interview with Vogue, the Joker star shared how Polansky has been a steadfast support system, saying, “I had never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind.”

The 38-year-old singer continued, “Our lives are very different, but he’s a very private guy, and he’s not with me for any other reason than that we are right for each other.” Gaga and Polansky, who made their relationship Instagram official in early 2020, have since built a strong connection. “What I want my fans to know is that I’m just, like, so happy. I’m healthy,” Gaga said.

Reflecting on her past struggles with mental health, Gaga acknowledged that her fans may remember her last personal message from the release of her album Chromatica, which she described as being about an “absolutely horrible time” in her life. “I was in a really dark place,” she admitted, adding that she had been struggling for many years before things began to shift.

Gaga credited Polansky for helping her find her way through. “He wasn’t afraid to truly hold my hand and get to know me on a very deep level,” she said, emphasizing how much his support meant to her.

The singer also revealed that her relationship with Polansky has brought balance to her life, a piece she had long been missing. “The missing piece in my life was having real love,” she added, highlighting the importance of their bond in helping her heal and move forward.

Through this vulnerable moment, Gaga expressed her gratitude for Polansky and their relationship, showing how love and support have helped her find happiness and stability.
