Kim Kardashian Seeks Restraining Order Against Stalker, Citing “Emotional Distress”

Kim Kardashian is on high alert due to a dangerous stalker who has been causing “emotional distress” by making unannounced visits to her home and those of her relatives. The 42-year-old reality star is seeking protection from the obsessive behavior of Melvin Jeffery Conley, a 30-year-old man who has been stalking her and her family.
As reported by In Touch, Kardashian recently petitioned for a restraining order against Conley, and the case is now moving forward in court. Kardashian initially filed for a temporary restraining order in August, seeking urgent protection. Last week, she was expected to present her reasons for making the order permanent.
However, her legal team was unable to serve Conley with the necessary documents to finalize the order. As a result, the court postponed the hearing until September, keeping the temporary order in place for the time being. In her petition, Kardashian described Conley as a “stalker” and requested that he be required to stay at least 100 yards away from her and her children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West.
She also asked for an injunction to prevent Conley from making any contact with her or harassing her further. “As a result of Mr. Conley’s harassment/stalking of me, I have suffered, and continue to suffer emotional distress,” Kardashian stated in her court filing.
The situation escalated after Emma Roberts, Kardashian’s co-star on American Horror Story, alerted her to the danger. According to Blast, Conley broke into Roberts’ home while she was away, confirming his presence by calling her from her landline. He then moved on to Kris Jenner’s home and ultimately attempted to breach the security at Kardashian’s Malibu estate, where he was stopped by security before he could carry out his plan.
This is not the first time Kardashian has dealt with such incidents. In November 2022, she filed for a restraining order against another stalker, Jomonie Victor Zigler, who repeatedly attempted to visit her home and sent her gifts, including a diamond ring and hotel room keys.
Zigler, who has a history of making sexually explicit comments about Kardashian online, was also accused of having a criminal record involving threats and firearms. With this latest incident, Kardashian is once again relying on legal protections to ensure the safety of herself and her family as they navigate the ongoing threats posed by dangerous stalkers.
