Kelly Clarkson has undergone a remarkable 60-pound weight loss, embracing a newfound focus on health, confidence, and personal style. With her slimmer physique, Clarkson has revamped her wardrobe to highlight her figure, opting for cinched waists and fitted silhouettes. Now, she’s also rethinking her makeup style to complement her new look. An insider revealed to People magazine, “She’s regained some weight, losing the gaunt look, and wants to rethink her makeup.” Clarkson aims to bring out her natural features through enhanced eye makeup, subtle shades, and flattering lip colors.

While Clarkson has previously been sensitive to cosmetics and often uncomfortable with heavy makeup, she’s now embracing the change. “She doesn’t enjoy” being overly made up, but now she feels empowered to experiment. “She’s feeling really good about herself and wants it to show,” the insider added, emphasizing that Clarkson’s transformation is about more than just aesthetics—it’s also a reflection of her growing self-assurance.

The singer and single mom to 9-year-old daughter River Rose shared with People magazine some of the routines she credits for her progress. “Walking in the city is quite the workout,” she said. She’s also a fan of infrared saunas and, after hearing the hype, recently incorporated a cold plunge into her regimen. “Everybody wore me down,” she joked about the cold plunge trend.

As for her diet, Clarkson has found balance without restrictive practices. “I eat a healthy mix,” she explained. “I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor—for a couple of years I didn’t. And 90 percent of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat—sorry, vegetarians in the world!” With a focus on protein-rich meals, she has developed a sustainable approach that fits her lifestyle and nutritional needs.
