Jessica Alba is embracing a new chapter in her life following her recent divorce from longtime partner Cash Warren. The actress and entrepreneur took to Instagram to share reflections from a past tropical vacation, offering a glimpse into her current mindset as she navigates life after separation.
In a series of introspective posts, Alba, 43, included the word “Shanti”—a term in Hindi and Sanskrit meaning “a state of being mentally and spiritually at peace.” The post signaled a focus on healing, serenity, and self-awareness.

Another quote she shared read: “Life humbles you. As you grow older, you stop chasing the big things and start valuing the little things. Alone time, enough sleep, a good diet, long walks, and quality time with loved ones. Simplicity becomes the ultimate goal.”
She also reposted a message from the wellness brand Spirit Daughter, saying, “And just when she thought the waves would destroy her, she became the ocean,” as reported by Daily Mail.
The Instagram updates come after Alba officially filed for divorce from Warren in February 2025. Court records list their date of separation as December 27, 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. She has requested joint custody of their three children—Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7—and asked for her legal name to be restored to Jessica Marie Alba.

Despite the split, Alba previously expressed gratitude for their shared journey. In January, she posted a statement saying, “I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years. It’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”

Just months earlier, in May 2024, Alba celebrated their anniversary with a heartfelt tribute. “I’m proud of us for making it this far,” she wrote. “There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family. Through thick and thin, we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another.”
Alba and Warren first met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004. They married in 2008 and later co-founded The Honest Company, a consumer goods brand focused on ethical and sustainable products. Known for her roles in Sin City, Fantastic Four, and Into the Blue, Alba is now focused on personal growth, family, and the peaceful simplicity she says has become her ultimate goal.
