Katie Price’s Ex, Carl Woods, Reveals the Truth Behind Her 2020 Foot Injury
Katie Price’s ex-fiancé, Carl Woods, has come forward with his account of how the reality star and glamour model broke both of her feet in 2020, ending up in a wheelchair. According to Daily Mail, the couple started dating in 2020 after meeting in a kebab shop and, just six weeks later, they flew to Turkey together to get veneers done.
Shortly after their trip, Katie was photographed being pushed in a wheelchair by Carl, with reports stating she had broken both feet. Initially, Katie claimed the injury occurred at a theme park, but she later changed her story, stating she had been “pretending to be a horse” when the accident happened.
However, Carl has now shared a different version of events, alleging that Katie’s injury was the result of a fall from a hotel car park, triggered by an argument between the two. Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Carl claimed that he confronted Katie after discovering she had been messaging a “very famous footballer who plays for England” and attempting to send him videos while they were on their holiday.
Carl explained that he caught Katie messaging the footballer while she was “very drunk” and was careless in hiding the conversation. When he confronted her about it, Katie allegedly became upset and “went wild.” According to Carl, “She ran out of the room and went down the fire exit stairs, across the hotel reception, and straight out onto the hotel car park.”
He continued, “She didn’t mean to do it, but she was running like a lunatic and went off the edge. She ran through a bush, and the ground disappeared beneath her.” Carl claims that it was this 25-foot fall that led to Katie’s severe injuries, which later required surgery.
Katie’s initial explanation of the accident and her changing stories added confusion around the true cause of her injuries. Carl’s revelation offers a new perspective on what might have transpired during their trip to Turkey.
Carl and Katie’s relationship was tumultuous, marked by several breakups and reconciliations over the course of three years before they officially split in 2023. Despite their ups and downs, this latest disclosure sheds light on one of the more dramatic moments of their time together, offering insight into the dynamics that fueled their rocky relationship.
