But it was date night for Beyonce and Jay Z on Sunday as they sat front row among the star-studded audience at the NBA All-Star game in New York City. The power couple got cosy during the sporting event at Madison Square Garden, while displaying their edgy fashion sensibilities.

Beyonce and Jay Z appeared to have coordinated their footwear, wearing his and hers versions of the construction style boot. The 45-year-old rapper sported the traditional style, while the 33-year-old singer wore the black version with a towering heel. Beyonce kept warm in an oversized army green trench coat over ripped blue jeans, topping the look off with a black beanie.

Jay Z donned a black sweater with matching sleek trousers, completing his look with a trucker hat, a flashy gold chain, and gold rings. At one point, the father-of-one was seen engaging in conversation with former basketball star Magic Johnson.

The power couple were joined at the game by the likes of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Queen Latifah, P. Diddy, Ben Stiller, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and former President Bill Clinton. They watched performances by the likes of Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, and Nikki Minaj. Yet, Jay Z didn’t join in during Christina’s rendition of his and Alicia Keys’ hit Empire State Of Mind. Earlier that day, Beyonce Instagrammed a glowing make-up free selfie as well as a lush bouquet of red, pink, and violet flowers – perhaps a Valentine’s Day gift from Jay Z. On Saturday, the mother-of-one spent the holiday with their three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, sharing a photo of the two of them puckering their lips.
