Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez may have finalized their divorce, but new reports suggest the former couple is now entangled in a post-split dispute over the fate of their multimillion-dollar Beverly Hills mansion.
According to TMZ, the Hollywood stars are at odds over the sale of their lavish $68 million estate, which has been sitting on the market for the past nine months with little to no serious interest. The property, listed in July 2024—just a month before Lopez filed for divorce—has proven to be a sticking point in their attempts to move on.

Sources close to the situation say Affleck is ready to cut his losses and reduce the asking price in order to offload the property quickly. Lopez, on the other hand, is reportedly holding out for a buyer willing to meet their original price expectations.
“There hasn’t been a serious offer on the mansion since the beginning of this year,” the outlet reported, highlighting the growing tension between the two over the stagnant listing.
Affleck and Lopez originally purchased the sprawling 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home in June 2023 for $60.85 million, less than a year after their highly publicized wedding. Though the purchase was intended to mark a new chapter in their lives, insiders claim the couple was never satisfied with the property.

“Ben never liked the house. It’s too far away from his kids,” a source shared, referencing Affleck’s desire to remain close to the children he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
As for Lopez, she was also reportedly unimpressed. The insider noted, “The house was too big for her,” suggesting the size and scale of the estate didn’t suit her lifestyle either.
Despite receiving a $64 million offer in September 2024, the deal ultimately fell through when the buyers backed out. Since then, the lack of movement on the listing has only increased the divide between the former spouses.

Affleck, star of Good Will Hunting and Gone Girl, is said to be eager to finalize the sale and move on, while Lopez, the Grammy-nominated singer behind hits like On The Floor, appears more patient—or more optimistic—about securing their asking price.
With their once-dream home now a source of friction, the dispute underscores just how complex celebrity divorces can become, especially when high-value assets are involved. Whether the ex-couple will find a middle ground—or continue to be gridlocked over the mansion—remains to be seen.
