Kat Von D is an American tattoo artist. She is also a model and television personality. She is popularly known as a tattoo artist on the TLC reality television. The show had four successful seasons. Kat gives credit to her grandmother for her inspiration towards art and music. Kat had her first tattoo when she was 14 and by the time she turned 16 she had quit school and had become a tattoo artist already. She also has a book with her tattoo artwork compilation.

Kat married her fellow tattoo artist named Oliver Peck but they soon divorced each other. Kat had tattooed herself with her favorite bands and she also appeared in a few music videos.
