Brody Jenner, known for his stints on various reality shows including “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” has decided to step back from the limelight of his famous step-family, the Kardashians. In a candid interview with Closer magazine, reported by Yahoo News, Jenner expressed his exhaustion with the drama that often accompanies the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

“I’m sick of the Kardashians’ drama and I want to distance myself from the family,” Jenner stated, signaling a definitive move to separate his life from that of his step-siblings. This decision seems rooted in his desire for a quieter, more settled life, contrasting sharply with the constant public scrutiny associated with the Kardashians.

Further explaining the dynamics within the family, Jenner highlighted the separation that has grown over the years, exacerbated by the divorce between his father, Caitlyn Jenner, and Kris Jenner. “That’s the one thing that people don’t really understand is that we live two completely separate lives. And everybody ties us in together as the Kardashians and the Jenners. Now what’s interesting is they got a divorce right, so they’re not even technically part of my family anymore,” he added.

Jenner’s disapproval of the reality TV lifestyle is poignant, given his extensive history with the genre. “Growing up on reality TV isn’t normal. I’ve grown out of it now and am quitting it for good. It’s time to settle down and have kids and I can’t wait,” he expressed. Despite his early involvement in shows like “The Princes of Malibu,” “The Hills,” and “I Am Cait,” Jenner’s current sentiments reflect a significant shift in his personal aspirations, aiming for a life beyond the glitz and drama of television.

Interestingly, despite his decision to distance himself from the Kardashians, his relationship with his half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, remains unaffected. A source close to the family told US Weekly that there is no bad blood between them. “Brody and Brandon are supportive of the Jenners [and] Kardashians even if they’re not physically seen together all the time,” the source noted.

The same source also mentioned that while the siblings are not as close as they used to be, there is a mutual understanding and respect for each other’s separate lives. “They live in the same town so they run into each other and sometimes even see each other at events. It’s not like they would ever avoid each other if they were in the same room,” the source concluded, shedding light on the evolving but enduring family ties.
