Los Angeles, CA – Angelina Jolie has reportedly set strict conditions for her son Pax Jolie-Pitt following multiple road accidents that raised concerns over his safety.
According to a source who spoke to In Touch Weekly, the Maleficent actress “would love it if Pax would take these accidents as a warning and give up on this need for speed, but that’s very unlikely.”

Pax’s history of reckless driving includes a major road accident involving a Tesla in May 2024, followed by a serious e-bike crash just two months later that resulted in his admission to the ICU.
An insider revealed that Pax’s love for high-speed thrills developed in childhood during outings with his father, Brad Pitt. “It was obvious he loved the thrill of going fast,” the source shared. “He spent time out on dune buggies, racing around the sand in Santa Barbara with Brad.
[Angelina] didn’t see anything wrong with it at the time, but she regrets feeding into that now.” Despite her concerns, Jolie recognizes that Pax is an adult and ultimately makes his own decisions. “She can’t stop him from riding his electric bike,” the source admitted.

“But Angelina does at least want him to take some defensive driving lessons before he gets back out there. He’s agreed to that as part of the consequences of the crash.” Jolie has also reportedly taken extra steps to ensure Pax’s safety. The Maria actress “made” Pax sign a contract committing to always wearing his helmet while riding.

Even with these precautions in place, another insider noted that Jolie still worries about her son’s well-being. “It’s still going to give her anxiety every time Pax leaves the house on his bike,” the source said. Jolie hopes that the severity of Pax’s recent accidents will serve as a wake-up call.
“All she can do is hope that Pax is realizing how lucky he is to be alive with his brain intact and that he will act more responsibly on the road going forward,” the insider concluded. As Pax recovers and prepares to get back on the road, only time will tell if his mother’s concerns will lead to long-term changes in his driving habits.
