Kelly Clarkson is ditching her floral gown and revealing a new side of herself.
The singer surprised everyone when she covered Blink-182’s “All the Small Things” at a recent filming of The Kelly Clarkson Show. People couldn’t get enough of the American Idol alum’s version of the early-aughts song, but it was her rocker attire that got everyone talking.
She wore a t-shirt dress with an oversized flannel put on top for a more edgy vibe. The Voice coach coupled the grunge-inspired look with black platform boots, huge hoop earrings, and a black choker necklace from the early 2000s.
She had her blonde hair up in a high ponytail with face-framing pieces. She embraced the rock music style with heavy eyeliner and neutral lip color.

When a TikTok video of Kelly’s daytime TV show performance went viral, fans soon started praising her looks.
“The hair the fit the makeup the song! What a stunner! This is why she is who she is! KELLY F***ING CLARKSON!!! 👏,” one person wrote in the comments section. “As if I couldn’t be in love with her anymore 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️,” a different follower added. “THIS WOMAN,” another user responded.
Kelly has had a lot of success in the previous several years, and she continues to put out memorable outfits. She’s done it before, such as when she donned a low-cut gown at The Voice’s season 21 finale. She also enjoys returning to her fashion origins on her daytime TV show, such as when she celebrated Halloween in October 2022 with a dramatic new look.
Needless to say, when The Voice season 23 returns on March 6, Kelly’s outfit choices will certainly spark debate.
