A 38-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing his 73-year-old mother to death and leaving her body on the street in a tragic incident that has shocked the community of Arnold, Pennsylvania.
On Sunday, August 4, the Westmoreland County District Attorney‘s Office reported that Arnold Police responded to a 911 call made by Brian Rebold, who confessed to stabbing someone on Liberty Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Rebold’s mother, Diana Rebold, lying unresponsive in the road, “bleeding profusely from the head” and suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite efforts to save her, Diana was pronounced dead at the scene.
