Kate Middleton Should Come Up with a PR Plan Immediately, Says Royal Commentator

Kate Middleton’s media team needs to act swiftly to prevent another wave of conspiracy theories. The Princess of Wales had to publicly announce her cancer diagnosis in March after widespread speculation about her absence following abdominal surgery in January.

Royal commentator Jack Royston told the Newsweek that the royal family should begin updating the public about Kate’s treatment and royal duties, especially if her current break extends into the fall. “The public needs to be kept informed to prevent further speculation and concern,” Royston advised.

“They’re going to have to come back from the August break with a plan for how to manage public opinion. It’s starting to emerge again, but only at a low level. Significantly lower than we were seeing in kind of late February and through March,” he said.

“I think they’ve got time. I think that they will survive until Autumn. The royals obviously go to Balmoral for the summer in August. They’re going to have to come back from the August break with a plan for how to manage public opinion and how to manage the questions from the media as well,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kay Burley noted that the royals typically spend the summer at Balmoral estate, suggesting they have until August to address any updates regarding Kate’s health and activities. Burley emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency with the public during this period.

The Princess of Wales’ announcement in March was intended to quell the rumors, but continued updates will be crucial to manage public interest and concern as she focuses on her recovery.
