Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute Blacksteel

You can rely on the winged “B” brand – Breitling to give an iconic watch its rightful regard. After having celebrated 50 years of its first space-worn wristwatch – Navitimer Cosmonaute, Breitling goes an extra mile rendering the watch a stealthy new look with a Blacksteel edition. True to the original model, the new Navitimer Cosmonaute Blacksteel possess two key characteristics: a manual winding system an a 24-hour display that distinguishes between day and night. Under the hood, the Navitimer Cosmonaute Blacksteel is powered by the manufacture Breitling Caliber B02 with 70-hour power reserve; the chronometer has been certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer testing Institute). What’s alluring is the model’s all black silhouette created using a highly resistant carbon-based coating.

The dial as well as the subdials are drenched in black, enhanced by luminescent indicators and small red hands. Tying this 1000 pieces limited edition to its roots is the official Aurora 7 mission insignia on the watch’s caseback. Completing the tech-savvy look is a black rubber strap.

The Navitimer Cosmonaute Blacksteel has been priced at $4,590.
