Trump drops major weight and scores perfect on mental test in latest checkup

Donald Trump just wrapped up his first annual physical since starting his second term, and the results are raising eyebrows. According to the White House physician, Trump is in ‘excellent’ physical and mental health, with some metrics showing major improvements compared to his last checkup.

The exam, which lasted five hours, was conducted at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland under the supervision of Dr. Sean Barbabella. He said Trump shows “robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function.” In a statement, he noted that the president’s active lifestyle still plays a big role in keeping him in shape.

One of the biggest takeaways? Trump has dropped 20 pounds since his last presidential exam. He now weighs 224 pounds and stands 6-foot-3, with a BMI of 28. That technically falls into the “overweight” category, but many doctors argue that BMI alone doesn’t paint the full picture of health.

Cognitively, Trump reportedly nailed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), a test designed to catch early signs of memory loss or dementia. According to the report, he scored a perfect result.

Trump’s vital signs were also solid. His resting heart rate was recorded at 62 beats per minute — well within the healthy range — and his blood pressure came in at 128/74. While that’s slightly elevated, it doesn’t cross into the hypertensive zone.

He’s currently taking two medications — rosuvastatin and ezetimibe — to manage his cholesterol, which now sits at an ideal 140 mg/dL. His triglyceride levels were also marked as healthy.

As for his skin, the doctors noted signs of sun damage and scarring on his right ear from the assassination attempt last year. Trump also continues using a prescription cream, mometasone, to treat a minor skin condition.

Despite everything he’s been through physically and politically, Trump says he’s feeling great. “I’ve never felt better,” he wrote on Truth Social.

The White House says he remains fully fit to carry out all responsibilities as President and Commander-in-Chief.
