Hollywood icon Glenn Close is singing the praises of her All’s Fair co-star Kim Kardashian, applauding the reality star’s talent, intelligence, and ambition as the two work together on the highly anticipated legal drama from creator Ryan Murphy.
The 78-year-old Academy Award nominee, known for her powerful performances in films like Fatal Attraction and Dangerous Liaisons, has joined forces with Kardashian, 44, in Murphy’s latest TV venture. In an interview with DailyMail, Close opened up about their collaboration and her impression of the media mogul-turned-aspiring actress.

“I was curious. I couldn’t wait to meet her,” Close said of Kardashian, recalling their first meeting on set. “I had never done a Ryan Murphy show before, which is a whole other universe, and I think she would be surprised at how I was. I had to find my feet,” she added, reflecting on the unique experience of entering Murphy’s fast-paced creative world.
Despite her decades of experience on stage and screen, Close made it clear she didn’t feel the need to guide Kardashian through the process. “I would not presume to give Kim Kardashian advice. I think she’s a very, very brilliant woman. I think she could choose to do anything she wants,” she said.

Close went on to highlight Kardashian’s many accomplishments beyond entertainment. “Frankly, if she wants to be an actress, that’s one road. But she could be. She’s a great executive. She’s a great businesswoman. She’s a very, very involved mother. She’s getting her law degree. So, I think she has huge potential and that she’s fulfilled already as a woman. And frankly, I will be fascinated to see what she chooses to do,” Close concluded.
Her comments come amid growing buzz surrounding All’s Fair, a new legal drama in which Kardashian takes on a central role. The project marks yet another dramatic turn for the SKIMS founder, who has been steadily expanding her career into scripted television following appearances on American Horror Story.

This also comes at a time when Kardashian’s personal life remains in the headlines, particularly her ongoing conflict with ex-husband Kanye West over their daughter North’s recent appearance in a music video.

Nevertheless, Close’s endorsement of Kardashian’s work ethic and talent adds a serious note of credibility to the reality star’s burgeoning acting career—and suggests she may have found a powerful new ally in one of Hollywood’s most respected veterans.
