Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are once again in the spotlight as a series of major developments from the Sussex team continue to unfold — from charity upheaval to a renewed focus on women’s health initiatives. The Duke of Sussex has been facing backlash over his sudden resignation from his longtime charity, Sentebale.
The move came “in solidarity” with key trustees who reportedly clashed with the charity’s chairperson, Dr. Sophie Chandauka. His exit has sparked controversy and criticism, especially given the charity’s mission to support children and young people affected by HIV and AIDS in southern Africa.

Amid the Sentebale fallout, it was confirmed that Prince Harry will be returning to the United Kingdom next week. His appeal in the legal battle over his police protection while in the UK is scheduled for a two-day hearing on April 8 and 9 in London.
While legal challenges and charity disputes made headlines, the Sussexes also shared a significant update from their Archewell Foundation. In a statement published on their official website, they announced new funding for the Center for Intimacy Justice (CIJ) through their Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund.

“With the announcement of the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund’s second cohort, The Archewell Foundation is excited to highlight the inspiring grantees who are working towards a more inclusive and equitable technology ecosystem,” the statement read.
The CIJ, led by Jackie Rotman, “advocates to end discriminatory practices censoring women’s health information online through research, policy, and legal actions.” Their work aims to address the growing concerns over how online platforms handle women’s health and sexual wellness content, which is often unfairly censored or suppressed.

Prince Harry and Meghan emphasized their support for the cause, adding, “As we come to the end of Women’s History Month, we commend the work of CIJ to ensure women’s health information is accessible and equitable for all.”
The timing of the announcement appears strategic, shifting the focus back to their philanthropic work even as Harry prepares for another legal showdown in London. With controversy swirling around Sentebale and his upcoming court appearance, the couple continues to highlight social justice and equity issues at the core of their foundation’s mission.
