Prince William has reportedly made a surprising move that could intensify tensions with his brother, Prince Harry, and sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. The Prince of Wales is set to appear alongside outspoken Meghan critic Jeremy Clarkson in an upcoming episode of Clarkson’s Farm, the hit Amazon Prime series.
According to recent reports, a film crew from Clarkson’s Farm followed William during his visit to Folly Farm in Chew Valley this week. The visit was part of a Duchy of Cornwall initiative, where the future king met with 60 young farming tenants to discuss mental health awareness and sustainability in agriculture, according to GB News.

The event also included appearances by Clarkson’s Farm stars Caleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland, both of whom spoke with William during the gathering. The day featured workshops on business resilience and mental health in farming—topics the Prince has increasingly championed through his royal duties.
What raised eyebrows, however, was William’s decision to appear on camera for a show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, who has made deeply controversial remarks about Meghan Markle in the past. In a 2022 column for The Sun and subsequent posts on X (formerly Twitter), Clarkson wrote that he “loathed [Meghan] on a cellular level,” and fantasized about her being “paraded through the streets naked” while crowds hurled excrement at her and chanted “shame.”

The remarks sparked widespread condemnation and forced Clarkson to issue a public apology, but the tension between him and the Sussexes remains palpable. William’s willingness to associate with Clarkson on a public platform is likely to be seen by some as a provocative gesture amid the ongoing royal rift.
During the Duchy event, it was also announced that William would become the new Patron of We Are Farming Minds, a Herefordshire-based charity focused on supporting farmers’ mental health—a cause he described as close to his heart.

Meanwhile, Clarkson is currently filming the fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm, which has become a surprise success on Amazon Prime by mixing humor, agriculture, and candid moments of rural life.
While Buckingham Palace has not commented on the upcoming episode or William’s appearance, the move signals a potential shift in tone from the heir to the throne—one that may deepen the divide between the two royal brothers.
