Trump Praises Tech-Savvy Son Barron on 19th Birthday as Youngest Trump Launches Real Estate Venture

As President Donald Trump juggles the duties of his second term, he took a moment on March 19 to publicly praise his youngest son, Barron Trump, in honor of his 19th birthday. In a sit-down interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, Trump shared a glimpse into their relationship and highlighted Barron’s natural talent with technology.

“He’s got an unbelievable aptitude in technology. Barron is a very smart guy,” Trump said proudly. He recounted a lighthearted moment involving Barron’s tech skills: “Maybe technology! He can look at a computer — I try turning off this guy’s… I turn off his laptop… and I go back five minutes later he’s got his laptop. I said, ‘How’d you do that?’ ‘None of your business, dad.’”

Born on March 20, 2006, to Donald and Melania Trump, Barron is currently a student at NYU’s Stern School of Business after graduating from Florida’s elite Oxbridge Academy in 2023. Trump is also father to Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany, all of whom he spoke about with affection during the interview.

“I’m lucky. Look, you have to be a little bit lucky too,” Trump said. “They are very smart and they’re good kids. And they work hard, and they love our country and they’re proud of their father. And we have a very good relationship.”

Though he keeps a lower public profile than his older siblings, Barron is beginning to make his own mark—not only in technology but also in politics and business. During the 2024 presidential campaign, Barron played a behind-the-scenes role in reaching younger voters by advising his father on which popular podcasts to appear on, as per AL.

“He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation,” First Lady Melania Trump told Fox & Friends in December. “They are all on the tablets, they are on the phones, and all of these podcasts and streamers.” She added that Barron “was very vocal and he gave advice” during the campaign, as per New York Post.

Outside of politics, Barron has stepped into the business world. In July 2024, he co-founded Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital Inc., a luxury real estate venture headquartered at Mar-a-Lago. The firm is expected to relaunch in spring 2025 with a focus on high-end developments, including golf resorts and properties in Utah, Arizona, and Idaho. From tech talent to budding entrepreneur, Barron Trump is quietly carving out a path of his own.
