During the podcast, Newsom discussed the importance of separating masculinity from toxic behavior. Walz interjected, “I think some of us scare ‘em. Walz was chosen as Kamala Harris’ running mate in the 2024 election, in part to help her win over male voters. However, the results on November 5 showed otherwise. President Donald Trump’s campaign won the male demographic by 12 points, gaining support across age groups.
