Justin Bieber Admits He’s ‘Drowning’ in Pain as He Breaks Silence on Past Struggles

Pop superstar Justin Bieber, currently facing intense public scrutiny for recent behavior, has shared deeply personal insights about his childhood struggles, revealing how feelings of hatred overwhelmed him during his youth.

The “Peaches” singer, who rose to fame as a teenager, acknowledged on Instagram that his early years in the spotlight were far from the glamorous experience many might assume. Bieber candidly discussed the negative emotions he grappled with privately, noting how societal expectations about emotions affected him profoundly.

“I was always told when I was a kid not to hate. But it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to have it and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it,” Bieber shared in a heartfelt social media post.

Bieber emphasized that openly addressing these feelings was essential for personal growth, explaining that confronting difficult emotions directly was the key to healing. To illustrate his feelings, he used lyrics from SZA’s track “I Hate U,” reflecting on the depth of his emotional struggles.

This revelation follows another raw and vulnerable post by Bieber, in which he confessed to experiencing deep-seated self-doubt and feelings of fraudulence despite public praise.

“People told me my whole life, ‘Wow, Justin, you deserve that’. And I personally have always felt unworthy, like I was a fraud, like when people told me I deserve something,” he previously shared.

These admissions highlight Bieber’s ongoing efforts to address mental health openly and authentically. Fans and followers have responded with support, recognizing the importance of such honesty from high-profile figures in helping others deal with their own emotional battles.

Meanwhile, Bieber’s childhood mentor, Sean “Diddy” Combs, has separately found himself entangled in serious legal challenges. Recently appearing in court looking noticeably different—appearing puffy with graying hair and a matching beard—Combs pleaded not guilty to new charges. He is accused of sexually abusing three victims over two decades, between 2004 and 2024.

While Bieber continues navigating his personal struggles publicly, these revelations mark a significant step toward openness about mental health in the entertainment industry.
