Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce remains one of Hollywood’s most talked-about splits, rivaling the iconic breakup of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt. Despite intense media speculation, neither Kim nor Kanye has fully revealed the details behind their separation.
However, in a candid moment on The Kardashians, Kim hinted at some of the reasons behind their decision to part ways. While chatting with her sister Khloe Kardashian, who was reflecting on her past relationship with Lamar Odom, Kim shared her own emotional journey through divorce.

“That’s the hardest part, I’ve been there when you don’t foresee something happening that really changes a person’s personality,” Kim revealed during the Feb. 13 episode. “And then they’re not the same person, and you can’t ever get that person back—but you can’t live with the new person. I get it.”
The reality star, who shares four children with Kanye, spoke about the difficulty of ending a marriage that she initially never wanted to dissolve. “It’s tougher when you don’t want your marriage to end off of your personal reasons, but circumstances change that force your marriage to end,” she added.
Kim went on to express how challenging it is to move forward when an unexpected shift in a relationship leaves no room for reconciliation. “I’ve been there, Khloe’s been there, and so when you weren’t planning on that and that’s not really the outcome you want—but there’s no other option, I think it makes it harder to get over.”

While Kim reflects on her past, Kanye has remained active in the music scene. Recently, he released a new track featuring Sean “Diddy” Combs, Diddy’s son King Combs, and his daughter North West. Reports surfaced that Kim had allegedly tried to prevent the track’s release, though it ultimately made its way to fans.
As the high-profile exes continue to navigate their separate lives, Kim’s emotional revelations shed light on the personal struggles that come with ending a marriage. Despite their differences, both stars remain in the public eye, each forging their own paths in entertainment and business.
