Kate Middleton’s popularity appears to have taken a hit in the U.S., as a new poll ranking the British Royal Family shows the Princess of Wales trailing behind Prince Harry in favorability. According to the survey, the late Princess Diana remains the most admired royal, with 76 percent of Americans viewing her favorably.
She was followed by Queen Elizabeth II, who earned a 67 percent approval rating. Prince William secured third place with 58 percent, while Prince Harry, despite ongoing tensions with the royal family, landed in fourth place with 53 percent approval.

Kate, typically considered one of the most beloved members of the monarchy, ranked lower than expected in fifth place, receiving just 52 percent of the votes from American respondents.
The poll results come amid reports that Kate recently held a “secret” meeting with Harry while vacationing with Prince William and their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—on the Caribbean island of Mustique during the half-term holidays.

According to The Closer, sources claimed that the Princess of Wales arranged the meeting in an effort to mend the fractured relationship between William and his estranged brother. Kate reportedly hopes to bring Harry back into the royal fold and is eager for a reconciliation between the siblings.

The rankings suggest that while Kate remains widely admired, Harry’s public presence in the U.S.—where he now resides—may have contributed to his higher favorability in the American poll. Meanwhile, speculation surrounding Kate’s personal involvement in family tensions and her efforts to mediate behind the scenes continues to fuel public interest.
Despite the shifting rankings, the Princess of Wales remains a central figure within the royal family and continues to play a significant role in shaping its future.
