WASHINGTON, D.C. — Brian Glenn, the Real America’s Voice host and boyfriend of Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, claims he has received “thousands of death threats” following his controversial exchange with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office. Glenn’s criticism of Zelensky’s attire has sparked intense backlash.
The incident occurred last week when Zelensky arrived at the White House for high-stakes discussions regarding Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Instead of focusing on the war and its devastating impact, Glenn took the opportunity to question the Ukrainian leader’s choice of clothing.

In a moment caught on camera by C-SPAN, Glenn confronted Zelensky, demanding, “Why don’t you wear a suit? You’re at the highest level in this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit. Do you own a suit?” On Monday, March 3, Glenn doubled down on his critique during a segment on Real America’s Voice, ridiculing Zelensky’s military-style clothing, per Daily Beast.
“Why does this man continue to go see heads of nations, get hundreds of billions of dollars, be in the highest offices around the world, and absolutely wear that silly little green jumpsuit, which—you’re not currently in the war in that country?” Glenn scoffed. “Why can’t you show some respect and dress up and be at the highest level?”

Facing widespread criticism from Zelensky’s supporters, Glenn attempted damage control on Saturday morning, but his comments only fueled further outrage. While he insisted he had “extreme empathy for the people of Ukraine,” he remained firm in his criticism of Zelensky’s outfit, the New York Times reported.

In a post on X, Glenn defended his stance, writing, “For him, once again, to enter the highest office in the most powerful nation in the world, dressed as he did, reflects his inner disrespect for not only our country, the President, and the U.S. citizens that have made it possible for Ukraine to survive as long as they have to this point.”
Glenn’s remarks have ignited a heated debate, with supporters and critics weighing in on whether his comments were justified or an unnecessary distraction from Ukraine’s ongoing crisis. Meanwhile, the threats against him have raised concerns about the volatile political climate surrounding discussions of the war.
