Tomi Lahren Praises Trump’s Chaotic Press Conference Amid Mixed Reactions

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren expressed enthusiastic support for President-elect Donald Trump’s Tuesday press conference in Palm Beach, which many on X (formerly Twitter) described as chaotic and off the rails. Trump began the event by announcing a “$20 billion investment in the U.S. from DAMAC Properties, a Middle East-based company.”

However, the press conference soon veered into unexpected territory. Among his bold pronouncements, Trump proposed renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America” and suggested that the U.S. should take over Greenland and the Panama Canal.

He even cast doubt on the results of the very election he won, claiming without evidence, “They’re still counting the votes in some areas. Can you believe this? What a place. What a horrible place,” he added, referring to the country he is set to lead.

Lahren, a staunch MAGA supporter and host of Tomi Lahren is Fearless on OutKick.com, took to X to applaud Trump’s performance. “Isn’t it amazing listening to a president who can actually stand AND speak OFF prompter for more than 5 mins without taking a nap or slurring words beyond recognition?!!!” she posted, taking a swipe at President Joe Biden, who recently withdrew from the 2024 presidential race after a debate performance that was widely criticized for his verbal missteps.

Not everyone shared Lahren’s admiration for Trump’s unscripted style. Former Republican Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) sarcastically tweeted, “Remember America, this election was about the price of eggs or something like that.” Political insider “AngryStaffer” called the press conference “bats–t even for Trump,” while former Clinton White House official Robert Reich warned about the dangers of distraction.

“Get ready for four years of rambling and outrageous lies. But don’t let the absurdity distract you from the real goal of Trump 2.0: the continued consolidation of wealth & power into the hands of oligarchs. They want you to be so outraged that you tune out. Do not,” Reich posted.

The press conference encapsulated Trump’s signature mix of unpredictability and headline-grabbing declarations, drawing praise from his loyal supporters while alarming critics.
