Kyle Richards is speaking out about her relationship with her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky and the current state of their separation after 27 years of marriage. In a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the 55-year-old star addressed some lingering questions regarding their split, including why she hasn’t visited his new condo yet.

Richards revealed her surprise when Umansky, 54, began buying new furniture for his condo, which led her to feel that the situation might be more permanent than he had originally suggested. “He said, you know, ‘I need to do this. I’m going to move out for six months, we’ll figure it out,’” she recounted to her co-star, Erika Jayne.

“So I was like, ‘we’ll take it from there,’ type of thing. Then all of a sudden, he was buying stuff. This feels like he went into that thinking this was…” “Permanent,” Jayne interrupted, to which Richards nodded in agreement. Despite the growing sense of permanence in Umansky’s move, Richards admitted she still hasn’t visited his new home. “I’ve yet to go to his place,” she said.

The two were later shown having a lighthearted exchange in another scene, where Richards joked, “I’m like thinking about you in this condo, with no dogs,” to which Umansky responded, “You haven’t been there yet.”

The RHOBH star went on to explain that Umansky had invited her several times to visit, but her schedule and other commitments, like hosting Jewish holiday dinners, had prevented it. “He’s invited me a number of times actually, it just hasn’t worked out yet — not for any particular reason. I’ve been out of town for certain things or I’ve had plans,” she said.

She continued, “And then the Jewish holidays just passed and he said, ‘Can you come over and we’ll do the holidays at my house?’ I was like, ‘I have more space here. You’re going to have to rent tables.’ So I’ve still been hosting the Jewish holiday dinners with his family.”

Despite their separation, Richards clarified that Umansky is still involved in their lives and often visits their formerly shared home. A source close to the pair previously told People that while they are living separately, they remain amicable as they work through their next steps.

The couple shares three daughters: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, as well as Richards’ daughter Farrah Brittany, 36, from her first marriage.
