Blake Lively stepped back into the spotlight at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Monday, following a challenging year marked by accusations of “bullying” behavior surrounding the release of her film It Ends With Us in August. The 37-year-old actress, who had expressed concerns earlier this year about her career potentially being “over,” joined a star-studded guest list that included Kylie Jenner, Katie Holmes, and Ciara.

Held at the American Museum of Natural History, the CFDA Fashion Awards celebrated top designers, with Marc Jacobs among the evening’s honorees. Lively arrived in a chic white dress featuring ruched details and a daring thigh-high slit, which she paired with glittering gold and silver closed-toe heels. To complement her look and stay warm in the cool fall weather, she draped a white blazer over her shoulders, fitting seamlessly with her outfit’s color scheme.

The Gossip Girl alum completed her look with a touch of sparkle, wearing a silver necklace, matching earrings, and a bracelet on her left wrist. Her blonde hair parted to the side, and flowed effortlessly in soft waves past her shoulders, adding an elegant finish to her ensemble.

Lively’s appearance at the event comes after a period of personal and professional turmoil. Following the release of It Ends With Us, she faced “bullying” accusations that reportedly took a toll on her. According to Daily Mail, a source shared that Lively was “definitely saddened by the hate she was getting and was trying not to let it affect her, but it was.”

Despite these challenges, Lively’s radiant presence at the CFDA Fashion Awards suggests she’s ready to move forward, embracing new opportunities and putting the difficult year behind her.
