Comrade Kamala Harris Has a ‘Warped Mind’: Trump Lashes Out After Town Hall Exchange

Former President Donald Trump launched a tirade against Vice President Kamala Harris following her remarks during a town hall event in Pennsylvania. Taking to his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump resurrected his old nickname for Harris, calling her “Comrade Kamala” and accusing her of having a “warped mind.” His outburst came after Harris responded affirmatively to a question about whether she believes Trump is a “fascist.”

During the town hall, moderated by CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Harris was asked about the characterization of Trump by two prominent figures from his own administration: former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, and former White House chief of staff, John Kelly. Both Milley and Kelly have been critical of Trump, with recent comments aligning him with fascism. Cooper asked Harris directly, “Do you believe Donald Trump is a fascist?”

Harris’s response was clear and unequivocal: “Yes, I do. Yes, I do. And I also believe that the people who know him best on this subject should be trusted.” She went on to urge the audience to consider the careers of those who have spoken out against Trump. “These were not politicians,” she explained. “These are career people who’ve served in the highest roles in national security, who’ve served as generals in our military, who are highly respected, talking about the person who would become commander in chief.”

Her comments were in reference to Milley and Kelly, both of whom held top national security positions during Trump’s presidency. Harris underscored the importance of their insights, noting that these individuals are not driven by political motives but by a commitment to national security. “Aside from Trump’s former vice president, Mike Pence,” she said, “these are career people who’ve served in the highest roles.”

Unsurprisingly, Trump was quick to respond. Taking to Truth Social, he attacked Harris for her remarks, accusing her of trying to escalate the political rhetoric as the election season heats up. “Comrade Kamala Harris sees that she is losing, and losing badly, especially after stealing the Race from Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump wrote, referencing the baseless claim that the 2020 election was stolen from him. He further accused Harris of calling him Adolf Hitler, though she had not made that comparison in her response to Cooper’s question, told the New York Post.

Trump’s post continued: “She is increasingly raising her rhetoric, going so far as to call me Adolf Hitler, and anything else that comes to her warped mind.” He didn’t stop there, labeling Harris a “Threat to Democracy” and claiming that she was “not fit to be President of the United States.” Trump ended his post by pointing to Harris’s polling numbers, stating, “And her Polling so indicates!”

The town hall exchange and Trump’s fiery response come amid growing tensions as the 2024 election approaches. Harris, who has frequently been the target of Trump’s insults, has been vocal in her criticism of the former president, particularly in light of the revelations from his former administration officials. As the political landscape continues to evolve, these fiery exchanges are expected to become more frequent as both parties ramp up their campaigns.

Trump’s relentless attacks on Harris have sparked reactions across the political spectrum, with many seeing his fixation on her as part of a broader strategy to energize his base. Harris, for her part, seems undeterred, continuing to challenge Trump and speak out against what she views as his threat to democracy.
