Renowned British singer Elton John has opened up about his health, revealing that he has had numerous organs removed over the years. The 77-year-old singer shared these details during the screening of his new documentary, Elton John: Never Too Late, in New York earlier this week.

At the event, Elton disclosed that he had been dealing with vision issues caused by a severe eye infection. Despite his health challenges, he maintained his humor, saying, “To be honest with you, there’s not much of me left.”

Elton elaborated further on his health issues, listing the various surgeries and removals he has undergone. “I don’t have tonsils, adenoids, or an appendix,” he shared. He told PEOPLE, “I don’t have a prostate. I don’t have a right hip, a left knee, or a right knee. In fact, the only thing left to me is my left hip.”

Friends of the Cold Heart singer have expressed concern over his health, particularly after his recent worldwide tour, which included 330 dates. They told the New York Post that they believe he should be focusing on his well-being and spending time with his family rather than continuing his demanding schedule on the road.

“He should be at home with his kids and his husband, not stuck on the road. I worry that he won’t finish this tour,” one close friend revealed. Another musician commented, “He is not Superman,” highlighting their concern over Elton’s physical condition.

Professionally, Elton John’s new documentary, Elton John: Never Too Late, chronicles his extraordinary 50-year career in the music industry. The film promises to offer fans an intimate look into his life, both on and off the stage, as reported by JOE. Despite his health challenges, Elton remains committed to his music and legacy, continuing to share his journey with his fans.
