Well, the people at Chanel seemed to have had the same thought because Chanel has now collaborated with Monster to give style savvy music lovers a brand new raison d’être: Chanel’s new signature headphones.
Though they come in an innocuous black shade, they feature some trademark Chanel traits like the interlocking “double C” logo and a quilted leather design. The headphones come with their own quilted lambskin case (that could easily double up at a quirky clutch) and make the perfect finishing touch to all your spring ensembles. In the past Monster has collaborated with Hublot and Crystal Roc to create some unique headsets and the collaboration with Chanel cements their status as an industry forerunner.
With Swizz Beatz and Karl Largerfeld himself seen flaunting the Chanel headphones, it’s only a matter of time before they get snapped up by Chanel fans. There is as yet no official word on the pricing but sources say they could cost as much as $7500. Well, Chanel is one of the most coveted brands in the world and Chanel style never comes cheap.
