Kylie Jenner Fights Kris Jenner’s Plans ‘Doesn’t Want to Make It More of a Spectacle’
Kylie Jenner has recently been pushing back against Kris Jenner’s plans for her relationship with Timothée Chalamet, aiming to keep their romance low-key and out of the Kardashian spotlight.
A source revealed to the Daily Mail, “Kylie and Timothée are going so well because Kylie is not putting ultimatums on him to be a part of the Kardashians TV show.” This approach has not pleased Kris Jenner, the family’s famed momager, who reportedly wants her youngest daughter to be more open about her relationship with the Hollywood heartthrob.
“Kris is not happy,” the insider said, explaining that Kris wanted Timothée to flaunt Kylie publicly. However, keeping their relationship relatively private allows “the duo to be as normal a couple as possible.”
“Kris would love for Timothée to flaunt Kylie everywhere but Kylie is making sure to fight this because she actually doesn’t want to make it more of a spectacle than it already is,” the source added.
Kylie, who shares two children with her ex, Travis Scott, is content with taking her relationship with Timothée slowly. The source noted that while marriage and babies are “definitely on the table,” they are not in the couple’s immediate plans.
“Theirs is a more private relationship in which they can be as normal a couple as is possible considering their levels of fame,” remarked the insider.
Kris reportedly expressed her desire for Kylie and Timothée to be more open about their relationship, saying, “She wants to nurture the relationship and have it last and not make a mockery out of it.”
The source highlighted that Kylie and Timothée enjoy “doing normal and fun things with each other and are homebodies.” Timothée, in particular, wants to focus his attention on Kylie when not working. “He wants to be with Kylie for a long time,” the insider added.
Kylie’s decision to keep her relationship with Timothée private contrasts with the public nature of her past relationships and the family’s reality TV empire, signaling a desire for a more authentic and less scrutinized romance.
