They have vehemently denied reports they have rekindled their relationship. But Rihanna was seen hopping into a vehicle with Chris Brown in Berlin on Thursday after the former couple had spent their Thanksgiving evening partying together. The 24-year-old had attended Chris’ concert in the German capital and joined him at the after-show party at a night club.
Rihanna was seen doing shots at the venue while Chris went incognito, covering his head with a scarf. They were then spotted getting into the same car.
Chris was charged with assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The pair, who can be heard duetting on a song together on Rihanna’s new album Unapologetic, insist they are now just friends. And while she has scotched claims they are an item once again, Rihanna recently described her former flame as ‘kinda alright’. The singer was supporting Chris on his Up Close and Personal tour after wrapping her own tour, 777, which saw her perform in seven countries in seven days, after turning a jumbo jet into her own private tour bus.
She dressed in a short jumper dress and high-top trainers to attend her ex’s concert, slipping on a thick red jacket before leaving to help her keep warm. It comes just as Chris has been forced to cancel a tour date in South America following protests over his domestic violence incident with Rihanna. He was billed to headline a show in Guyana on December 26, but concert promoter Hits & Jams Entertainment said on Thursday that the 23-year-old has backed out due to discomfort with the protests by women’s rights groups. Earlier this month protesters plastered the police photo of Rihanna’s beaten face following the incident three years ago on posters promoting Chris’ tour in Stockholm, Sweden. – Dailymail
