After making a chic appearance on the Oscars red carpet, the singer wowed the fashion world once again at the exclusive after-party hosted by music moguls Jay-Z and Beyoncé at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.
Page Six reported that Rihanna truly shone “bright like a diamond” at the star-studded event. The fashion icon dazzled in a silver sequined Valentino bralette paired with a matching skirt, all beneath a striking fuchsia pink robe. Setting a new trend for maternity fashion, she adorned her growing baby bump with a custom-made diamond belly chain valued at an astonishing $1.8 million. The chain, crafted by Bayco, featured more than 139 carats of round, marquise, and rose-cut diamonds set in platinum.
According to Daily Mail, In addition to the belly chain, Rihanna accessorized with over 250 carats of sparkling stones, bringing her total jewelry ensemble to a staggering $2.67 million. She wore a layered three-row diamond necklace with approximately 96 carats of rose-cut gems, floral diamond earrings with 12 carats of vintage brilliance, and a diamond ring set with three antique cushion-cut stones.
Accompanied by her partner A$AP Rocky, who looked dapper in a black tuxedo, the couple made a grand entrance at the West Hollywood venue in a sleek black SUV. This glamorous outfit marked Rihanna’s fourth wardrobe change of the evening. Earlier at the 95th Academy Awards, where she was nominated for Best Original Song for “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Rihanna made a bold statement on the champagne-colored carpet in a dominatrix-inspired sheer leather ensemble by Alaïa, proudly displaying her baby bump.
For her captivating Oscars performance, Rihanna changed into a glittering Maison Margiela outfit, designed by John Galliano. The ensemble featured a sheer black bra top adorned with rhinestones and a plunging neckline, with suspended strands of crystals gracefully accentuating her bare baby bump.
Reflecting on her decision to perform at the Super Bowl just three months postpartum, Rihanna shared during a press conference, “When I first got the call to do it again this year, I was like, ‘You sure?’ Like, I’m three months postpartum, like, should I be making major decisions like this right now?” She added, “But when you become a mom, something happens where you feel like you could take on the world, you can do anything.” Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their baby boy on August 3, 2023, in Los Angeles, with sources revealing that his name starts with “R,” according to TMZ.
