Kris Jenner Accidentally Reveals Grandchild’s Name: ‘We Cannot Wait to Meet Baby’

Kris Jenner went all out to throw an extravagant Disney-themed baby shower for her oldest daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, who is expecting her first child with Travis Barker. However, the event almost didn’t happen and ended up featuring an unexpected slip-up by Kris.
The day of the shower, 45-year-old Kourtney called her 68-year-old mother to share that both she and Barker, 48, had tested positive for COVID-19. This news brought Kris to tears, fearing Kourtney would miss her elegant baby shower.
Determined to make it work, they compromised. The couple arrived in masks before the guests started filing in, staying at a separate table and interacting with others through social distancing. Despite the challenges, the shower proceeded smoothly, until Kris inadvertently revealed the name of the baby.
Towards the end of the shower, Khloe Kardashian announced a toast. “We all want to congratulate Kourtney and Travis for their beautiful beautiful angel that’s gonna be here in a couple of weeks now,” Khloe began, to which Kourtney responded, “Let’s hope for five.”
Khloe continued, “We are just so happy to be here and to see that your love flourish and that your love created real genuine love and a little angel that’s coming soon, #13 for the family. Mom has been crying all day,” before passing the floor to Kris.
Kris, overcome with emotion, said, “You guys, we’re just praying for a healthy and happy delivery. We cannot wait to meet baby Rocky,” inadvertently revealing the baby’s name.
“I don’t think you were supposed to say that,” Khloe whispered as Kris gasped, trying to recover while everyone laughed. “What I meant was it’s gonna be a very rocky day,” Kris added.
Kim Kardashian commented in a confessional, “Come on, mom. We’ve been hiding names and bumps and pregnancies and marriages and everything for years. And at grandchild 13 are you like losing it at this point? Like how do you let it slip? How do you say the name?”
Kim continued, “If his name is Rocky, it’s so fitting because he’s such a fighter, and so are you guys and we love you,” as the family toasted to the couple and their soon-to-arrive child.
Khloe jokingly remarked, “Well, note to self, I’m not telling you any kids’ names moving forward,” while Kourtney expressed her gratitude to Kris, saying, “This is so perfect, thank you mom, it’s so thoughtful.”
Travis added, “Can you imagine if we didn’t see all of this?” to which Kourtney replied, “It’s exhausting, I’m like out of breath.”
Travis, comforting Kourtney, said, “I wish I could do this for you,” while rubbing her baby bump.
Kris concluded, “I think it all turned out after all at the happiest place on Earth. So you know there’s always a happy ending. There might be a lot of drama, as usual, but at the end of the day, there’s always a happy ending and it’s always about family.”
Rocky Thirteen Barker, a name Barker had hinted at in a previous season, was born on November 1, 2023, in Los Angeles.
