Summit Entertainment has just started reaping the benefit’s of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” but they are already working on using some of that profit to land some A-listers for their next film.
The new film, “Riptide” is about a “handyman, a young stock broker, and the stock broker’s girlfriend. One of the men is found dead floating in the sea. The girlfriend is found at a nearby hotel. An investigator is called in to figure out what happened and why,” reports Pajiba.
Offers have already been made to Brad Pitt to play the investigator and to Shia LaBeouf to play the young broker. The script is re-written by Peter Morgan (“Frost/Nixon”) and was originally written by Richard McBrien.
There is no word on whether the two will accept.
