From Hannah Montana to So Undercover, Miley Cyrus has proved she’s a great singer, a hot dancer, a cute actress and something of a fashion icon. But how much do you know about her?… Well here are 10 things you didn’t know about Miley Cyrus. Or maybe you did.
If she stopped being a singer and actress, she’d be a photographer.
“I actually want to come to London to study photography. I hear there are some really great art schools here so I would love to do that.”

She’s actually quite good at baseball.
“I play baseball a lot: my dad was a baseball coach so every once in a while he’ll go out there and just throw a ball for me and I’ve gotten really good. That’s what I really like to do.”
She wants to get her environmental message across.
“More than anything I want to influence people on the subject of the environment. I feel like it’s a concept that gets overlooked a lot so I’d like to get people to do little things like turn the tap off while you’re brushing your teeth or turn the lights off when you leave a room. It’s so easy! That’s what I want to do. Show people how easy it is to take care of the environment. You don’t have to change the way you live; it’s just little things.”
She’s more of a saver than a splurger.
“I save it all up. And I want to support my family when I get a bit older.”
She doesn’t think she’s going to go off the rails like Michael Jackson because she never got a normal childhood.
“Hopefully not. It can be the pattern. But I have friends who are like, ‘Miley, you got to slow down.’ The paparazzi can drive you mad but that’s just who they are. They follow you round and you just have to ignore it.”
She loves the controversial “naked back” photograph she did with Vanity Fair photographer Annie Liebowitz when she was still in her teens even if it did cause a storm.
“Everyone outside of America liked it a little bit more but the States are really conservative and I guess I just had to deal with that and just realize that I got to work with an amazing photographer. She was amazing and so talented and her lighting. I would love to work with her again.”
When it comes to boys, she’s more into personality than she is into looks.
“I’m surrounded by good-looking guys: the models, the actors, this and that so it ends up not being about that. It ends up being about the personality and the way someone treats you. Also, being around so many actors I feel a lot of people treat them really badly so if anyone treats people really sweet then that’s what’s really appealing.”
Her parents have always treated her like an adult.
“My parents are really chilled with me until I give them a reason not to be, so hopefully I’ll never give them a reason. When they think I’m getting out of line, when I’m talking back a bit, they’ll censor me a bit more and slowly get me back into my more trustworthy phase.”
She and her mum have a great relationship.
“We’re really close. We’re like sisters, best friends. I hate saying it because it sounds like the perfect little answer but my mom is so cool and it’s true and if you met mom, you’d really like her.”
The star of So Undercover actually surprised herself when she found she could act.
“I ended up kind of impressing myself. I was like, ‘Yay, I didn’t know I could do that,’ so it was great.”
